We are the missing link in your health and dieting  journey. We are a functional medicine program and we find the  root cause of your challenges through a specific tailored method. We specialise in fat loss, ending binge eating and diet culture as well as addressing health concerns and finding optimal health.

We combine a top-down, bottoms-up and outside-in approach to your journey. This includes:

  • Top-down: psycho-spiritual, yourself worth, self-love, emotions, stress, feeling, cognitive function

LMW’s mission is to end the diet culture globally. We want to inspire women that they can end yo-yo dieting, binge eating, distorted eating and find optimal health and stop feeling pressured by the society we live in.

We do this through science-based education, we explain the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind everything so you can become re-connected with your body, improve your health, learn how to eat and find freedom from food. We make sure that you will never have to work with a coach again and teach you the tools and methods to maintain health, your dream body and happiness. We free up your mental real estate for what really matters.

    I became a personal trainer in 2007 and worked my way up through commercial & boutique gyms. During this time I completed and acquired a number of qualifications including: Cert 3 & 4 Fitness, Natural Therapy Credentials, Science Degree and a history in social work.

    After working with hundreds of clients, I couldn’t help but become enraged and disillusioned by the lack of information available. People were being fed misinformation about their health by trusted professionals.

    I’d come from a similar place, tried all the fad diets, all the fad exercise regimes, all the fads full stop, and I knew how difficult it was to find a trustworthy voice. The healthcare system treats our problems, but really we should be focusing on good coaching to prevent them in the first place.

    Today, I call myself an educator and a role model for the life I wish for my clients and my family. I eat real food, practice mindset mastery, and train like a beast, which I am confident you can too.

    I am an attentive and warm psychologist with experience working in school settings and private practice. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to build self-esteem and self-worth, and I understand that each person has their own set of unique qualities, traits and characteristics to offer in this world.

    I strongly believe in the power of stable and healthy relationships in the client’s support network and I work with my clients to ensure they are well supported. I have experience in treating clients presenting with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and behavioural disorders.

Jake has studied and mentored with a range of renowned functional doctors, PhD’s, Naturopaths, and world-leading bodybuilding coaches; combining a wide range of approaches to optimise client results. Jake is also an educator, lecturing and mentoring health practitioners around the world. With a background as an adventure guide, Jake is usually found away from city centres, connecting with nature.
